Laura Florence is a licensed private investigator and paralegal, who was born and raised in Guelph. She started her career in the legal field by obtaining a diploma in Protection, Security and Investigations from Conestoga College in Kitchener.
Working as a private investigator since 2013, Laura’s focus has been on undercover assignments, and locating elusive individuals. In addition, using the knowledge gained from her work as an investigator, Laura also provides services in Skip Tracing which entails locating individuals who are not easy to find by the general public.
Laura’s second diploma is in Paralegal Studies and she is a licensed member of The Law Society of Ontario in good standing. Her practice consists of litigating civil disputes in the Small Claims Court, and Administrative Law. Laura has advocated at The Landlord and Tenant Board for both landlords and tenants. Laura appears in the Ontario Court of Justice, acting as a court agent, assisting lawyers. Her previous paralegal position was at an reputable local criminal law firm.
Laura currently volunteers at the YWCA assisting women with criminal records apply for a Record Suspension to give them a better chance at employment opportunities. During the years of 2009-2013, Laura volunteered as a Scout Leader, with the Scout group 3rd Year Guelph. When Laura is not working, she enjoys target shooting and horse back riding.
